Discussion led by Washington State University Professor, Dr. Orlan Svingen about the documentary "In Good Faith," which focuses on the 1868 Virginia City Treaty between Chief Tendoy and other Mixed Bands leaders and the US Government.

“The Nez Perce in the Late Summer of 1877”

This is an invitation to a Zoom Presentation by Suzy Avey, Executive Director of the Sacajawea Interpretive Center, about the plight of the Nez Perce during the summer of 1877 in the Big Hole Valley of Montana.  She will also discuss the roles of specific individuals, subsequent events,  and the creation of the Bear Paw Battlefield.  It is sponsored jointly by the Lemhi County Historical Society and the Sacajawea Interpretive Center.
